淡淡的忧郁的歌声，一段凄凉刻骨的悲剧：Altan－Daily Growing
一个女子在年轻的时候由于父亲的安排嫁给了一个显贵的子弟，她开始担心自己的年龄有一天会成为感情悲剧的主因，她埋怨父亲错误的将自己嫁给了一个比她小很多的男子。婚后第二年，他们有了自己的孩子，而她的夫君却也还是一个孩子，在一天天的长大。她送他去上学，为他裹了蓝色的头巾，她怕别人抢走父亲为自己选定依存的真爱。而命运的捉弄，却使她很快成了寡妇，在为爱人缝制寿衣的时候，她的悲哀成了整个曲子的灵魂……
一首来自 Altan的凯尔特元歌曲，很平静的,声音没有任何感情色彩，曲调没有任何修饰，简单的吉它和风笛中，低沉而流畅的声音不动声色的讲述着一个故事,给人纯净的感觉。在细微的民族风情中，忧伤与爱慢慢流淌着，渐渐渗入心底。歌曲改编自民歌The Bonny Boy或称The Trees They Do Grow High，演唱者是Ní Mhaonaigh和Paul Brady。
Altan, 这是一支被誉为90年代最杰出的一支爱尔兰传统民谣乐团 。他们现在的演奏不只是局限在爱尔兰音乐，而是扩展到摇滚、蓝调、爵士乃至乡村音乐等多种范畴，这些不同风格的音乐在他们具有浓厚的爱尔兰特色的手法演奏之下，更加具有别样的风情。也许正因为此，埃尔顿乐队在新世纪里焕发出了崭新的活力。美国BILLBORD排行榜曾这样评价埃尔顿乐队：“埃尔顿乐队演奏的音乐不属于任何音乐分支，他们所做的是打破民族音乐、世界音乐与摇滚音乐之间的一切文化隔阂。”
